    • Profile Information:

      For Freelancers, this includes details about your work experience, skills, and qualifications to complete your public profile.
    • Payment Information:

      When you pay a Platform Fee (e.g., Job Posting Fee, Annual Verification Fee) or add funds to your Wallet, our third-party payment processors collect your payment details (such as credit/debit card number or bank account information). Al Ujrat does not store your full payment card details. We only receive a token and confirmation of the transaction.
  • 1.2. Information Related to Platform Use:

    • Project and Job Postings:

      We collect the details of the projects and jobs you post.
    • Bids and Applications:

      We collect information on the bids and applications you submit.
    • Communication History:

      We may store communications made through the Al Ujrat messaging system to ensure compliance with our Terms & Conditions.
    • Wallet Transactions:

      We maintain a record of all transactions related to your on-platform Wallet, including deposits, fee payments, and withdrawals.
  • 1.3. Automatically Collected Data:

    • We collect technical data about how you access our platform, including your IP address, browser type, device information, and activity logs. We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your user experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used for the following purposes:

  • To Operate the Platform:

    To create and manage your account, verify your identity, and enable you to use our features like posting jobs or bidding on projects.
  • To Process Platform-Specific Transactions:

    To process payments for our Platform Fees and to manage the deposit, holding, and withdrawal of funds in the Freelancer Wallet.
  • To Communicate With You:

    To send you transactional notifications, security alerts, and information regarding your account or changes to our policies.
  • For Security and Compliance:

    To prevent fraud, enforce our Terms & Conditions, and comply with legal obligations.
  • To Improve Our Services:

    To analyze usage data to understand how we can improve the user experience and develop new features.

  • With Third-Party Service Providers:

  • Publicly Visible Information:

    Your profile information (like your name, skills, and work history as a Freelancer) and any projects you post (as an Employer) are visible to other users of the Platform.

Important Note:

We do not have access to, nor do we share, any information related to the financial transactions for services that occur directly between Employers and Freelancers off the platform.

4. Data Security and Retention

We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure. We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services, comply with our legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to access, update, or correct your personal information through your account settings. You may also request the deletion of your account by contacting our support team. Please note that we may need to retain certain information for legal or record-keeping purposes.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Platform is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
